Privacy Policy

• Contact info you give us: first and last name, email, phone, business name, address, and details you include in form messages or applications.
• Account info: login credentials, profile photo / headshot (for models), tags, and preferences.
• Booking & workshop info: sessions you book, workshops you register for, attendance, releases, and related communications.
• Payment info: handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we don't store full card numbers on our servers.
• Marketing preferences: your email-marketing, SMS-marketing, and SMS-transactional opt-ins.
• Technical info: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and basic analytics necessary to operate and secure the site.

• To provide bookings, workshops, content delivery, and account features.
• To send transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts, account/security alerts) by email and — if you opted in — SMS.
• To send marketing emails and/or marketing text messages, but only to people who explicitly opted in.
• To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact, investors, sponsors, and media forms.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Services and comply with legal obligations.

When you opt in to email marketing, you consent to receive newsletters, promotional emails, and workshop announcements at the address you provide. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can also manage your preferences at /dashboard/notifications. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. Transactional emails (e.g. booking confirmations and receipts) are sent regardless of marketing opt-in because they are necessary to deliver the Services you requested.

We run two separate SMS programs, each with its own opt-in. Opt-ins are never pre-checked, and consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

• SMS Marketing — occasional promotions and announcements.
• SMS Booking Alerts & Reminders — transactional confirmations, reminders, and account alerts only.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to cancel, or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in data, phone numbers, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are only shared with our SMS delivery vendor strictly to send the messages you requested. Our SMS programs comply with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA messaging guidelines. Manage SMS preferences anytime at /dashboard/notifications.

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate (hosting, database, email delivery, SMS delivery, payment processing, analytics) under contracts that restrict their use of the data.
• Staff and contractors who need it to provide the Services you booked.
• Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
• Successors in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with continued protections.

We do not sell personal information.

We use first-party cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure site usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may limit functionality.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Services, and as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see Your Rights below).

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, withdraw marketing consent, and opt out of SMS by replying STOP. To exercise these rights email workshop@theshotlabs.com. We will verify your identity before responding. Missouri does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute, but we extend these core rights to all our users regardless of state.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate from Missouri, USA. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand information will be processed in the U.S. under U.S. law.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
